Country Story Tip 1: Getting started … To get started in Country Story, you will need to create your house and avatar. After you install the game, the boxes will open that will allow you to create your avatar and your house. You can change the color of your roof, wall, and change the scene behind your house. Once you have created your house and avatar, you will be walked through a small tutorial to get you started.

Country Story Tip 31 Sound and music … The music and sounds in Country Story can sometimes become annoying. To turn the sounds and music off, you will need to click the sound icon and the music icon one time each. That will turn both of them off. To turn them back on, click them again one time each.

Country Story Tip 11: To use fertilizers, you will need to click the Fertilizer bag at the bottom of your screen. This bag is right next to the seed bag. When the box opens, select the fertilizer that you want to use and click the field you want to use it on.

Country Story Tip 33: How are friendship points obtained ? Everybody starts off with 75 friendship points with each of their friends. These can be increased or decreased depending on how you use them. You can increase your friendship points by 10 with a particular friend by sending them an item that is equivalent to 1000 gold coins. You can raise your points by a maximum of 10 per day, with each of your friends. Sending an item worth 100 coins will increase by 1 point.

Country Story Tip 30: Toggling your quality … If you find that the game is responding really slow and you can barely do anything, you can adjust the quality to remedy the problem. At the top of your screen you will see an icon next to your save icon. Click this icon and it will reduce the viewing quality. This icon is called the Toggle Quality. You can place your mouse over it to see the name of the icon and you can change it back by simply clicking it again.

Country Story Tip 18: Sun icon … The sun icon beside your green points is your weather system. This icon will let you know if it is day or night and what the weather is like. The bars around the icon will light up and this lets you know it is closer to changing.
